Today I went with some friends to Tomaszów Mazowiecki, a town about 100 km (60 mi.) from Warsaw. Near the town during the II World War were built two large bunkers, each more than 300 m (1000 ft) long. They were built for trains with generals and their staff, who went to the nearby Spała for vacation, hunting and stuff.
But when we went there we saw some abandoned factory or CHP plant and decided that we have to see it from the inside. We were going to see both bunkers but checked only one of them and went to what was said to be a chemical plant.
This was my first opportunity to go inside the smoke-stack. The view from the bottom of it to the top is one of a kind...
